Today I challenge you to look at your childhood and what was fun for you and try to find a way to incorporate it into your life now!
Let's have some fun!
Do you know what's fun for you? What do you enjoy doing? Sometimes as adults, we think it's wasteful or silly to have fun and that's just not true. We need fun and play in our lives just as much as children do in theirs. Gretchen Rubin suggests looking at what you did for fun as a child for clues on what you might find fun now. For me, I remember reading-A LOT!!!, writing (especially poetry), and playing school. When I look at my life right now, those are all things I do now and truly enjoy. Some of the other things I remember enjoying doing were bike riding-haven't done that in years! Roller skating-also haven't done that in years. Swimming-I have done that more recently than the other two, but it has still been quite a while. I even bought a new swimsuit last summer that I have yet to use.

AuthorMy passion is to share the importance of playing, and not just as a child, but as an adult also. It is so important to take the time to play and be active. Our children are losing that. CategoriesArchives
