What is your version of eating healthy?

As I start this blog and website, I’m curious about what others consider “healthy eating”. It seems to have such a different meaning for different people. For me, healthy eating means choosing to eat a balanced diet of protein, grain, fruits and vegetables, and dairy products. I try to keep it simple and not over think it and just make mostly wise choices.

In the coming weeks, I will be talking more about the healthy living journey that Tom and I are on and sharing how we have together lost almost 200 pounds.

Healthy eating to me is eating food that is as close to the way God made it as possible. Avoiding chemicals and processing in food so it is just pure, nutritious food. Fruits, veggies, grains, and protein. No restricting, just looking for purity. :)
