Week 36 Happiness Project Wrap-up

First off, I want to say that I am going easy on myself and so I am not upset with myself for the things I haven't done. Instead, I am thankful for the things I have done. The last few weeks have been hard and I made a conscious decision to be easy on myself when I didn't feel up to doing everything. Mainly I want to make sure I do my core items which are walking everyday, doing my devotional and bible study, drinking my water, and tracking my food and blood sugar. I figure if I take care of myself physically and spiritually, I will eventually feel stronger and get more done. Grief is exhausting and I need rest, so I'm taking it.

So here's this past week's report:

Walking: I walked every day and got 10,000 steps or more four of the last seven days.

De-clutter/house/paperwork/create classes/write. This month my challenge to myself was to do at least two of these items each day. I did that four of the seven days (and some of those days I did more than two). I have been working on de-cluttering the basement (gross!!!).

Writing blog/posting in my Facebook group: I wrote in the blog five of the seven days and posted in my Facebook group everyday.

Tracking food/blood sugar and drinking water: I did this every day

Fruits and veggies: I met my goal three of the seven days

Monitor spending: I did not do this at all this past week. I may just go ahead and take this off for the month.

Reading self-help book: I did this four of the seven days.

My passion is to share the importance of playing, and not just as a child, but as an adult also. It is so important to take the time to play and be active. Our children are losing that.
