July Wrap-Up

8/1/2020

Here we are at the start of August with July behind us. I want to think a moment about what I’ve accomplished this year. I’ve moved my body at least 20 minutes a day every single day this year. Every single day. That is amazing! I’ve upped my step count to average around 8,000-10,000 steps a day. I’m eating more fruits and vegetables than I’ve ever eaten in my life lol. I’ve posted in my blog almost every day this year. I’m drinking at least 80 oz. of water a day (usually more). I’ve created several new classes for my training business this year including several webinars. I don’t mean to brag on myself-or maybe I do. But I’m pretty thankful for everything that I’ve been able to work on and improve in my life this year. Especially with all the other craziness going on around me (pandemic, Tom’s health, etc.).
So here’s my July wrap-up:
Recording food/blood sugar and drinking water: met this goal every day in July.
Walking 25 minutes a day/8,000-10,000 steps a day: I walked 25 minutes every single day in July. I got over 8,000 steps 24 of the 31 days this month. Several of those days I got 10,000 or more.
De-cluttering/paperwork/creating classes/house: I did these projects 22 of the 31 days in July (I take most weekends off from this resolution).
Posting in blog and Facebook groups: I did this every day in July. I used the scheduling option for a lot of it, which was wonderful.
Fruits/veggies goal: I met my fruit and veggies goal 28 of the 31 days.
Gretchen Rubin books: for my “Summer of Gretchen Rubin”, I read 25 of the 31 days this month. I finished my list of those books!
Devotional: I did my devotional every day in July.
Bible study/prayer journal: I did my Bible study and wrote in my prayer journal every day in July.

My passion is to share the importance of playing, and not just as a child, but as an adult also. It is so important to take the time to play and be active. Our children are losing that.
