De-cluttering Dilemma

2/13/2020

I wrote a few days ago about how I was not doing as well with the de-cluttering as I was at the first of the year and certainly  not as well as I wanted to do.

So starting today (on days I'm home)-no games on my phone until my 15 minute de-cluttering challenge is done! Since there are days that I start playing games on my phone before I even get out of bed, this should be some motivation for me lol!

Finding a way to pair an activity that you find hard to do with something that you enjoy doing can be very helpful. Have you ever tried it? I got the idea from Gretchen Rubin (big surprise lol) and it's worked really well for me. So far I am pairing:

Listening to a podcast with walking/watching an episode of Designing Women on the treadmill

No Sonic drink till I finish my water for the day

De-cluttering before games on phone!

What works for you to motivate yourself to accomplish your daily goals?

My passion is to share the importance of playing, and not just as a child, but as an adult also. It is so important to take the time to play and be active. Our children are losing that.
